Bi-Weekly Video Update – 04/15/18

Hey, it’s Lon Naylor this week with a couple of nifty Camtasia tricks for you, a Quick Review of an excellent video marketing platform, and some nice social media video templates.

On the Blog: How to Use Cool PowerPoint Shapes in Camtasia

We all know there are "shape" callouts in Camtasia that we can use in our projects but, let’s face it… they are pretty limited. Squares & rectangles, circles & ovals, triangle, arrows, a star shape and a stop sign looking deal and that’s about it!

Well, did you know that there are dozens more you can create in PowerPoint and hundreds of thousands of shapes and images you can use these two sweet tricks to make customizable in Camtasia 9 to be any color you want? TUTORIAL:

Best Platform for Video Marketing?

If you have an online business (or want to!), you probably face the same big, ugly, wall of technology that I do:

Hosting, WordPress, web pages, shopping carts, payment processors, autoresponders, opt-in forms, email campaigns, marketing funnels, help desk software, membership site, plug-ins, security, etc… ugggg.

WATCH MY ==> QUICK KARTRA REVIEW

Kartra puts ALL of those things inside one dashboard and connects them all together to work seamlessly so you can spend time on the other things you need to do to be profitable online.

Bi-Weekly Video Update – 04/30/18

Hey there! It’s Michelle and I have an article to share with you on how I keep all my Camtasia projects safe and tidy for easy future updates. I also answer a couple of common student questions by sharing some favorite resources below.

On the Blog

So far I have 60 tutorials on my hard drive for my current client project and it’s started to clog things up. Too many videos take up a lot of space on my laptop and really slow things down. How can I keep buying all the cool products that Lon recommends if I have no room to store them?

Can you relate?

In the video below I will share with you exactly how I prepare my videos to archive with all the media I have used. I’ll also show you how to unsync your Dropox folders so they won’t burn up precious storage space.

8 Ways to promote your online courses

I like this article from Talent LMS on ways to promote your online course.

I get often get asked, "now that I have my video product, how do I sell it"  and I think this article covers the highlights of what I share in the monthly free coaching appointments (part of our Screencast Video Coaching memberships). Oh, did I already tell you both the monthly and yearly options are on sale for half price through Thursday?

A common question we get here at Learn Camtasia is "why are my screen recordings blurry?" I think this video does a great job explaining how to ensure your screen recordings are crystal clear.

That’s it for this week – see you in two weeks!
