YouTube End Card “Watch Next Video” Clip Trick

YouTube “End Cards” are excellent pieces of content to add to your videos that you will be uploading to YouTube. They increase retention, engagement, sharing…LOTS of benefits!

One of the more common and effective tactics is to include a small preview of another video on your channel and encourage your viewers to “Watch Next Video” and use an Annotation to allow them to simply click on this preview and be taken to watch it.

Well…getting that little preview clip is kind of a pain!

You have to find the “next” video which, of course, has already been produced to your hard drive and uploaded to YouTube), then import it into Camtasia, drop it on the timeline, separate Audio / Video, delete the audio track…UGGGG.

Watch this short tutorial for a much easier way I’m now using to “grab” my Watch Next Video preview clips:

Glad to see you using the ‘Big Ass Red Pointer’
I have been using it for years…and I have suggested to several other video marketers, over the years, who never started using it…
It sure is easier to follow along with.
