Can You Modify Stuff You Find On The Internet?

We had a question come in during the Weekly Screencast Coaching Webinar asking:

“How much do you need to change an image from the Internet to be withing copyright rules?”

Interesting question and certainly one that has a lot of misunderstanding surrounding it.

The short answer is: You can’t do that without permission or the rights to do so!

Thanks for your excellent summation regarding copyright! I have used Bing Images and used the drop down menu to filter out images that cannot be used freely. Otherwise I pay $ to $$$ for images that I use in training.
