Jason Brown Shares his Tips on Creating a Home Studio
As I scrolled through the videos submitted for critique on our Screencast Video Coaching forum one, in particular, caught my eye right away. Jason, one of our newer students, had put up two videos: One full motion video of himself and one PowerPoint style screencast. I was quite impressed that someone could do such a great job on their first two videos.
So, I asked if he would mind doing a short interview. I was most interested in how he put his home studio together and got such great lighting. We also chatted about his business as a stock trader and why he decided it was time to start adding video to his site.
Towards the end of our interview, when I asked Jason about what he felt was the hardest part about creating videos, I expected to hear something about getting the lighting just right or the Camtasia learning curve. What I got was an answer I didn’t expect but one I feel most everyone can relate to.
Hope you enjoy this 20 minute interview.
