Camtasia 9.1 Update

Techsmith has release a new version update:

Version 9.1.0 has several new features and effects included in it along with the usual batch of bug fixes.

This excerpt from the Screencast Coaching Webinars covers all the new features in some pretty good detail along with some tips & tricks for making the most of them:

The new features are:

1. New “Quick Properties Panel to easily change various Motion Elements from the Library
2. New “Device Frames” Visual Effect to drag & drop video background computer device frames
3. New Extend Frame functionality
4. Support for Importing PowerPoint files directly into the Clip Bin and on to the Timeline

My favorite is the Quick Properties Panel but I would like it even MORE if I could create my own Library assets that Camtasia would recognize. I’m trying to get the Techsmith folks to clue me into the tool they use…

The other 3 are rather handy little time savers and are worth downloading and installing the update which is free for all Camtasia 9 owners,
