Using Camtasia Hotspots to Add a Fun, Interactive Demo to Your Video

Probably one of the most common questions that video course developers ask is “How do I make my videos more engaging and interactive (i.e- less boring). While you may not be creating frog dissection videos (like I recreated for this demo) the idea is the same: Use Camtasia hotspots to “wake up” your viewers and make them show you that they have learned something!

The video below shows you how I took a demo that I saw over at the Articulate.com site and make a quick and dirty proof of concept just to see if I could recreate something similar using Camtasia Hotspots. And what do you know? It worked!

If you see anything in a video on YouTube, or wherever, you would like me to try to recreate using Camtasia (or PowerPoint) just post it in the comments and I will do my best to show you how you can do it yourself.
