Very cool. I see that you did this in Camtasia 8.
I am going to see how it works in Camtasia 7.

Hi, Lon.
Good information as always. I do a lot of webinar recordings, and I find it is easier to just drag the volume level down once I have selected a segment to silence or soften. The mouse is right there already.
The only problem is that completely removing the breathing or other sounds leaves a really dead spot without the ambient background. I will have to try your technique with some open-mic dead air. Thanks for the idea.

It’s awesome to see a video like this w/ exactly what you need in a concise, informative, and entertaining way. Thank you for helping me learn to create videos for my YouTube channel having fun with Unnecessary Censorship!

Shameless plug, channel is named “JoeCapHobart50” and here is what I was able to make thanks to your help! The most popular video I’ve had so far too!

Hey Joe! LOVE the videos! I recommend everyone check them out.

Care to share what software you used to create them?

How about a “guest expert” appearance on my next Screencast Coaching Webinar to chat about it?

    Thanks for sharing,
    Lon
