The Art Of The Sales Story

It probably won’t come as a surprise to most folks who are actively creating videos for sales and marketing that using a script to carefully craft the sales message holds the same importance as creating good sales copy has for a sales page.

That’s because they are essentially the same thing!

A video script = sales copy

This is actually kinda handy for us because there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the area of copy-writing that we can leverage to create the most compelling and effective messages for our video content possible. Nice!

One of the most established, time-tested, and flat-out engaging techniques for establishing the all important credibility, trust, and rapport we need to have for people to buy from us is to use stories to sell…without really selling.

Copy is one of those things that is part art and part science. To help us all get a grip on how to use the power of stories as our video marketing messages I decided to enlist the aid of top copy expert, artist, and scientist Daniel Levis.

In this Google Hangout, we dive into this awesome tactic and discuss the why and how of the Art of the Sales Story:

Be sure to catch the end of the presentation because Daniel gives out a free mind map for one of the coolest techniques in story-telling called the The Hero’s Journey – HINT: You’ve seen this hundreds of times…and now you will recognize it when you see it and understand why it is so useful! 😉

Also, Daniel made us a killer offer on his course called Effortless Influence that covers ALL the story telling goodness in great detail (including worksheets to craft your own!) with a $500 coupon code, for a limited time:
