Bi-Weekly Video Update – 09/11/17

It’s Michelle this week with your Video News.

This week I’ll be sharing some video re-purposing ideas and a cool way to get some pre-created narration for your videos.

Recycling Video Content to Build Your Mailing List

You know you need to start building a list of people interested in what you have to say. Instead of creating new content for this you can simply give away a piece of existing video content or a part of a training video.

In today’s blog post (Part Two of "The Lazy Person’s Way to Maximize Your Video’s Reach") I’ll be giving you ideas for cutting up your video content to help grow your mailing list.

A Simple Way to Get Pre-Written Scripts for Your Videos

Many of our clients want to create videos for YouTube and their blog but often have trouble knowing what topics will be popular with their audience. Then after they do find a topic they still struggle with writing the narration.

Well, I have a great idea for you. This morning I got an email from Melissa and Nicole over at Coachglue offering a package of 65 "Done for You" blog posts for just $27.

"What? Blog posts?" you say. "I don’t need blog posts. I need video content!"

That’s what I was thinking at first too! But when I read the topics, I realized that so many of these would be just perfect as narration scripts for traffic generating videos.

I’ve bought CoachGlue content many times before so I already know the writing is awesome. So after purchasing, all I’ll have to do is:

  • Pick the topic that suits my audience
  • Record the audio of myself reading the post then
  • Find some free graphics to go with it

Each post will make great content for a YouTube channel or you could even choose a whole category and put them together as a mini video course. Just add some examples or case studies of your own to make it unique.

65 Blog Posts Perfect for Video Content
(This product is only available through Wednesday night)

If you purchase through my link, please reply to this email with your receipt and I’ll invite you to my webinar next Wednesday showing you exactly how I create a video storyboard using one of these blog posts.

That’s it for this week – see you in two weeks!
