Weekly Video Update – 05/10/13

Ending the week on these notes for your weekend viewing and reading pleasure…

From the Learn Camtasia Blog:

Advice for Creating a Video Based Membership Site

Michelle shares her advice for creating a passive revenue stream with a video based private membership site.

Great Resource:

One of my clients is using characters from this site to “loosen up” their rather tedious training videos on Payroll. It’s actually made a very dry subject quite fun.

All you really need is the $12 package to use in your videos.

What’s Coming Up:

Keep your eye our for these announcements:

Lon and Michelle are hosting Daniel Hall next week for what should be an interesting webinar on creating audio books. These are a great compliment to any videos you may have made. Look for the registration link next Monday.

I (Michelle) will be relaunching my Webinar Specialist course with a fun Google Hangout late next week. This should be quite nerve wracking for me as I’ve never done a Google hangout before. Come check it out and learn along with me late next week.

Have a great weekend!

Great Resource:

If you don’t already, you need to start delivering webinars to build your mailing list and introduce your products to your audience.

Let me hold your hand through the process. It’s not too late to join me (Michelle) for my Webinar Mastery Class.

The videos are self paced but the practice sessions are live.

Weekly Video Update – 05/31/13

Lon Naylor here hoping you had a great week! Here’s your Weekly Resource Report.

From the Learn Camtasia Blog:

YouTube “Directory” Video Tip – This is actually a tip and free template I published before but with some of the new changes on YouTube, it’s now more relevant than ever. Be SURE you know about this top YouTube tactic:

Did I mention there is a free template with the tutorial?

Like it? Why not share and leave a comment. 😉

Do You Scoop It?

Here’s a free tool I have absolutely fallen in love with!

Scoop.it is what’s called a “curation” platform. That basically means that when you find interesting stuff on the internet, you “collect” or curate it in to a single place.

Why would you want to do such a thing?

Remember, as video producers, we are content creators. Sure, people will want OUR excellent video content but if you think about your market or area of expertise, don’t you often find things from others that would be useful to your audience? Probably, right?

What if, with the click of a button, you could pull the coolest information on your topic of interest you find into a beautiful looking system to share with your folks?

See what I mean by checking out two topics I am curating:

Camtasia Tricks: http://www.scoop.it/t/camtasia-tricks

PowerPoint For Video: http://www.scoop.it/t/powerpoint-for-video

The real value here of course is engaging your audience but there are lots of other benefits like: Boosting your credibility, being perceived as an expert, providing value… all good things!

Awesome (and EASY) stuff!

Have an awesome weekend!
