From the Learn Camtasia Blog:

Have you ever wished you could instantly access all your frequently used graphics, animations & effects and assets to use in your video projects right within PowerPoint?

Here’s a free PowerPoint Add-in called Storyboard that lets you do just that. I love this!

In fact, I’ve created 2 videos to get you going with it:

My good friends and PowerPoint pros at Levidio have created some huge libraries of Storyboard assets for a steal + I have a bunch of bonuses, too:

“Done for You” WordPress Video Course

Hey- it’s Michelle and I wanted to tell you about a series of videos I just bought. My friend and super savvy marketer, Chrissy Heron, is offering an entire 12 Video WordPress Course that you can buy this week for only $37.

Not only will you learn everything you need for setting up and using WordPress on your own website, but you also get the rights to take all those videos and sell them (she gives you all her marketing materials) to anyone you want. I’m actually going to give them away to my clients along with my coaching packages.

Take a look and if you like what you see, use the coupon code “save30wp “ to get $30 off the normal $67 price.

Bi-Weekly Video Update – 08/21/16

Hi there! Hope you’ve been enjoying your summer. It’s Michelle Schoen with your screencast video news.

From the Learn Camtasia Blog:

New to Video Training Development? A Successful Elearning Project
Requires Good Planning

To a novice even simple things seem complex. And when things appear complex, we can become frustrated or feel like we don’t have the skills to accomplish what it is we want to do.

In a very simple sense a video training course is about creating an environment where a person goes from a point of not knowing to knowing. The training course is about helping them get from A to B.

While each course has different content, the planning always starts out with a detailed Storyboard. To create one…. Read the rest on the blog.

Quick Camtasia Tip

What if you were working on a video in Camtasia and you realized you want to use a different image or media clip than the one you put on the Timeline?

What if you had already had it exactly where you wanted it and had even added animation or some other effects that you didn’t want to lose?

Easy – just right click either on the image or video in the clip bin or on the timeline, choose "Update Image"and find the one you prefer. The old media will automatically be swapped out for your new choice and retain it’s placement and all its effects. Easy Peasy!

PowerPoint Video Templates in the Real World

When it comes to creating PowerPoint video content, my partner Lon Naylor is one of the best! And there is something else he is well known for: Doing brutally honest reviews of tools & templates for PowerPoint products.

While most marketers simply copy/paste hype-filled swipe text, Lon actually uses them to create real videos and tells you the good, the bad and the ugly.

Check out his latest review post:

==> Wizard Design Pro Review & Template

You can download a template and also watch two video tutorials on using PowerPoint video templates in the real world.

That’s it for this week – see you in two weeks!
