Create a 3D "Pop Out" Effect in Camtasia
A lot of times (especially when we demo software), we want to zoom into a particular part of a Camtasia recording to show greater detail of what we are doing.
Normally, that’s fine. Show the detail… and zoom back out.
Well, sometimes that is a problem when you want to zoom in BUT… still be able to see what’s happening on the rest of the screen!
Here’s a little trick you can do that will “pop out” a section of your recording and make it bigger and still show the “lay of the land” of the big picture:

What Do Online Training Video Creators Earn Per Hour?
Because I work with a lot of Freelancers and Virtual Assistants, I’m frequently asked about the range in hourly rates for video training creators. Another name frequently used for that job title is eLearning Developer. An article I just read at eLearning.net puts those rates at between $35-$90/hr depending on your level of experience.
They also are clear to mention that "Just as important as hourly rate is the speed at which the vendor works, or the total hours billed to perform a specific task. I’ve seen companies off-shore who claim to charge $20 per hour but then bill 4 times longer to perform the same task as a US vendor who charges $60 per hour."
After reading the article, you may have a better idea as to where you fall in the pay scale.

If you want to see a really nice portfolio of PowerPoint presentations that could inspire your next video, take a look at Nancy Duarte’s portfolio
Notice how she uses her PowerPoint screen as an empty canvas. You won’t see any overused PowerPoint Templates on her site.
If you enjoy reading, she also has a sample pdf of her book Slideology. It was one of the first design books I read back in 2008 when I first came online to try my hand at screencasting.
