Camtasia 8 Editing Tip – Smooth Scrubbing

Have you noticed when editing your screencast video in Camtasia Studio version 8 that “scrubbing” the playhead to preview your edits that the playhead will “stick” when you encounter an element on the timeline?

Here’s the way to keep that from happening allowing you to scroll (scrub) smoothly along the timeline and get a nice preview:

This is a great example of one of those little things that can make you crazy if you don’t know how it works and how to do it properly!
